For years, I believed success meant pushing harder.

Like many women in leadership, I was driven. I loved solving complex problems, building teams, and creating meaningful impact. I climbed the corporate ladder in the automotive and technology industries. I eventually held one of the most rewarding positions of my career.

On paper, I had achieved everything I had worked for.

But behind the scenes, my body was telling a different story.

The High Cost of Always Performing

As my career accelerated, life became more demanding.

I became a wife. A mother.

I experienced the joy of welcoming my son into the world and endured a traumatic birth, followed by the heartbreaking loss of a second pregnancy.

Like many high-achieving women, I didn’t stop to process what my mind and body had experienced.

I did what I had always done.

I kept going.

I convinced myself that resilience meant pushing through.

Meeting deadlines.

Showing up for everyone else.

Ignoring the signals my body was desperately sending.

Eventually, those signals became impossible to ignore.

The anxiety grew.

Panic attacks appeared.

My energy disappeared.

I was exhausted, emotionally depleted, and completely disconnected from myself.

Despite having what many would consider a dream career, I realized that success wasn’t sustainable if it came at the expense of my health.

Burnout Wasn’t My Failure. It Was My Body Asking for Help.

For a long time, I believed I simply needed more discipline.

Maybe I needed a better workout.

A stricter nutrition plan.

More motivation.

Instead, I discovered something that completely changed my perspective.

My body wasn’t resisting change.

My nervous system was protecting me.

When we live in chronic stress, our bodies prioritize survival over healing.

That can influence everything from our energy and sleep to our metabolism, eating habits, emotional regulation, and ability to recover.

Looking back, I wasn’t lacking willpower.

I was living in a constant state of overwhelm.

Everything Changed When I Finally Slowed Down

Ironically, it wasn’t until I underwent surgery and faced a long recovery that I was forced to stop.

For the first time in years, I couldn’t outwork my stress.

I had to listen.

That season became the greatest gift I never asked for.

Instead of chasing another quick fix, I focused on rebuilding my foundation.

I learned to calm my nervous system.

I created simple daily habits instead of unrealistic routines.

I gave myself permission to slow down without feeling guilty.

As my stress decreased, something remarkable happened.

I became more present with my family.

I thought more clearly.

My energy returned.

Healthy choices became easier to maintain.

Eventually, I was able to take on a bigger leadership role in another fast-paced technology company—not because I learned to work harder, but because I learned how to care for myself while leading others.

The Missing Piece in Women’s Wellness

Today, I work with women leaders in business and technology because I know firsthand how easy it is to place your own health at the bottom of the priority list.

Many women come to me believing they simply need another nutrition plan.

Or another exercise program.

Or another challenge to complete.

But in my experience, lasting transformation begins much earlier.

It begins by creating safety within your body.

Learning to regulate your emotions.

Reducing chronic stress.

Building habits that support, not fight against, your physiology.

Only then can we begin the deeper work of restoring metabolic health.

My 3-Step Calm to Thrive Method

My coaching is built around a simple framework that reflects both my personal journey and the approach I now use with clients.

Step 1: De-Stress

We begin by calming the nervous system through sustainable daily practices such as mindful eating, breath work, restorative routines, intentional movement, and mindset work.

These habits create the foundation for everything that follows.

Step 2: Detox

Once your body is no longer operating in constant survival mode, we begin supporting natural detoxification through personalized nutrition strategies rooted in whole foods, sustainable habits, and your unique health needs.

There is no one-size-fits-all nutrition plan.

Every woman’s body, lifestyle, and goals are different.

Step 3: Reignite

Finally, we introduce fasting strategies that are individualized to your stage of life, health history, hormonal needs, and goals.

Fasting is a powerful tool, but while it’s benefits are backed by science there is an art to supporting your body with the right protocol.  My FLAG certification provided me the tools to help you find the right protocol for your body.

Rather than forcing your body into rigid schedules, we work with your body’s natural rhythms to support energy, metabolic health, and long-term sustainability.

Wellness Should Work With Your Life

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:

“I don’t have time.”

I understand.

I’ve lived that reality.

That’s exactly why I don’t teach perfection.

I teach sustainable systems.

Health shouldn’t require stepping away from your career or sacrificing time with your family.

It should help you show up more fully in both.

When we reduce stress, nourish the body with intention, and honor our natural rhythms, we create the conditions for meaningful, lasting change.

My Mission

My mission is simple.

I want women in leadership to know that success and wellbeing are not competing goals.

You don’t have to choose between a meaningful career and vibrant health.

You don’t have to earn rest.

You don’t have to wait until burnout forces you to stop.

By learning to regulate your nervous system, support your body with personalized nutrition, and using evidence-informed fasting strategies that honor your unique physiology, you can create a life where you don’t just survive the demands of leadership, you thrive within them.

Because the strongest leaders aren’t the ones who push through at all costs.

They’re the ones who understand that caring for themselves is one of the most powerful leadership decisions they can make.

Ready to keep calm & thrive on?

If this story resonates with you, I want you to know that you don’t have to wait until burnout forces you to slow down.

Your health isn’t another item to squeeze onto your to-do list. Your health is the foundation that allows you to lead, love, and live with greater intention.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling to prioritize yourself, or simply looking for a more sustainable approach to wellness, I’d love to help you take the first step.

The Calm to Thrive Challenge is a six-week guided experience designed specifically for busy women in leadership who want to reduce stress, improve focus, and build healthy habits that fit into real life.
